| Okay, I tried this once before, but I am really doing it this time. I
have started a blog on Blogger that people who aren't on xanga can keep
up with...So feel free to check it out often =).

| Oh, and any suggestions for a funny tv show to watch? We have seen
Arrested Development, Newsradio, Friends, Seinfeld...so all other ideas
would be helpful =).

| My baby actually let me sleep for 7 hours last night. If this is what
happens when we go to church and throw her schedule off, then I think
we should have church every day =).
I clipped Emma's fingernails last night for the first time, and she is
now able to suck her thumb, hand, fingers...which is fine with me..the
sooner she learns to self-soothe, the better. She is getting quite
chubby, for which I am thankful, but I don't want her to grow anymore.
She is too cute right now.
Okay, I know what you want is pictures, but I am having issues with the
photo cd I got from Costco..One of these days I will deal with it, and
one of these days I will get a stupid digital camera. But I am reticent
to cross over to the dark side...I have hung on to film for so long,
and they JUST TAKE BETTER PICTURES. Sigh. Anyway, I will get her
adoring public more pictures when I can.

| Emma woke me up at 3:45. I fed her and tried to fall back asleep an
hour later. She woke up at 5:30 and would have nothing more than to be
fed again. And then I put her in her swing again, and she woke up 30
minutes later. And she wanted to be fed again. So I give up. I am
running on four hours of sleep and I no longer want to try to sleep
anymore. She is just going to wake me up, so why bother...
That said, here are some more pics of her, though I am having a great
deal of trouble posting them...so hopefully this will work this time.
Leo is being very good with Emma...mostly he just ignores her, and when she starts crying he hides in my closet..
I remember when she used to sleep...it was so wonderful. =)

| Oh and let me mention that after 26 hours of impossibly hard back
labor, an epidural was the most wonderful thing I have ever
experienced. I wanted to take it home with me, and have it forever. I
love epidurals  .
